Ce type de montage multi-facettes, héritage direct de la miroiterie vénitienne des XVIIIe et XIXe siècles, a connu une importante réinterprétation au milieu du XXe siècle. Dans les années 1970, le courant Hollywood Regency et le néoclassicisme revisité ont remis au goût du jour ces miroirs géométriques soulignés de laiton. Bon état général de conservation. La monture en laiton présente une oxydation naturelle et une patine d'usage homogène.
