La structure architecturée, intégralement réalisée en laiton massif, s'articule autour de fins montants tubulaires. Ces fûts s'achèvent par des roulettes directionnelles à la base et sont couronnés d'amortissements en forme de toupies au sommet. Trois plateaux en verre transparent s'insèrent dans des cadres circulaires, ceints de rigoureuses galeries ajourées en laiton à motif de barreaux verticaux. L'alliance de la rigueur géométrique des galeries ajourées, de l'équilibre des proportions et de la noblesse du laiton poli permet d'attribuer formellement cette desserte à la Maison Jansen. Fondée à Paris en 1880, la Maison Jansen demeure pendant près d'un siècle la référence internationale de la haute décoration d'intérieur. Sous la direction de Stéphane Boudin au milieu du XXe siècle, la maison excelle dans la réinterprétation des styles Directoire et Empire. Bon état général de conservation avec patine d'usage homogène.
