DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

A chrome and brass standing frame, French work in the style of Willy Rizzo, circa 1970. Designed to hold a photograph or picture, it pairs the cool gleam of chromed metal with the warmth of brass, in a compact format suited to a desk, a console or a shelf.

The combination of chrome and brass is one of the signatures of 1970s luxury furniture and objects, a period when polished metal became a decorative material in its own right. Willy Rizzo, a photographer and designer active in Paris, did much to shape this taste with furniture combining polished metals and fine materials. This frame, made in his spirit without being attributed to him, carries that vocabulary to the scale of an everyday object.
