DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Neoclassical style silvered metal chandelier with twelve light arms. Arranged around the central stem, the arms form a broad, radiating silhouette, made luminous by the silvered finish. Circa 1940.
The neoclassical style, reinterpreted in the 1930s and 1940s, favoured balanced proportions and symmetry, expressed here in the regular arrangement of the twelve arms. Silvered metal, cooler and more discreet than gilt bronze, lends the whole an understated elegance. Hung above a dining table, at the centre of a living room or in an entrance hall, this chandelier spreads generous light and gives structure to the room.
