DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

The body of the chandelier consists of a pineapple in amber-yellow enamelled ceramic, crowned with a bouquet of gilt bronze leaves and extended by a foliate base. Six bronze arms chased with acanthus leaves spring out in supple curves, each carrying a gadrooned enamelled ceramic bobèche and a long black-sleeved candle sleeve. Large-link chain and ceiling rose in gilt bronze with leaf decoration.

The pineapple motif and the combination of enamelled ceramic and chased gilt bronze recall the repertoire of Maison Charles, the famous Parisian bronze-makers' house whose lighting of the 1960s-1970s combines Neoclassical references with an assumed decorative taste.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Ceramic with no visible damage, gilt bronze with a beautiful patina, black candle sleeves in fine condition. Electricity checked by an electrician. A warm and sunny chandelier, perfect above a dining table or in an entrance hall.
