DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This chandelier features a central stem dressed with foliage in gilt tole from which radiate four sinuous light arms, the nozzles set within elegant corollas of frosted glass with scalloped edges. A profusion of amber glass drops mounted on stems and beads is suspended over the entire height, from the top to the ends of the arms, creating an effect of golden rain of the finest effect. The ceiling cap in a gadrooned shell completes the composition.

This Italian work of the 1950s illustrates the tradition of Florentine gilt iron adorned with blown glass drops, heir to the girandoles of the 18th century, much appreciated in the refined interiors of the post-war period.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Gilding with a warm and even patina, amber drops in fine apparent condition. Electricity checked by an electrician. A warm and luminous chandelier for an entrance, a bedroom or a dining room of charm.
