DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This round-shaped bar cart features a brass structure with tapered and fluted uprights, topped with seed finials. The two glass tops are ringed by fine openwork galleries with arcatures; the lower level is fitted with a brass bottle holder with six curved compartments. A grip handle facilitates service, the whole resting on its original casters.
This refined neoclassical vocabulary — openwork galleries, fluted shafts, finials — allows this serving cart to be related to the style of Maison Jansen, the famous Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, whose occasional brass pieces accompanied the most elegant interiors.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a fine gilt patina, glass that may show probable surface micro-scratches inherent to use, functional casters. A serving cart both decorative and practical, perfect as a rolling bar in a living room or a dining room.
