DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This oval serving cart combines a gilt brass structure with turned baluster mahogany uprights, surmounted by pinecone finials. The upper tier, fitted with a mirror ground, is encircled by an openwork gallery with egg motifs and provided with a side carrying handle and a central handle; the lower tier in varnished mahogany, also encircled by a gallery, holds a three-ring brass bottle holder. The whole rolls on four small casters.
This type of bar cart, mixing chased brass, precious wood and pinecone finials, is characteristic of the production of Maison Baguès, the Parisian reference in gilt bronze and brass since the 19th century, whose Neoclassical movable furniture is highly sought after.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Even gilding with a patina of use, well-varnished mahogany, mirror possibly presenting slight foxing or micro-scratches related to age. Functional casters. An elegant and practical serving cart for serving aperitifs in the living room.
