DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This tall pedestal table superimposes three circular tiers of white marble with grey veins, each set into a brass mount adorned with a beaded frieze. Three tapered uprights with gadrooned rings structure the whole, the upper tier being surmounted by a central top finial; the feet end in tapered sabots. This Neoclassical restraint — slender proportions, beaded friezes, patinated brass and white marble — is characteristic of the productions of Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, supplier to royal courts and the most prestigious residences. Its small movable furniture ranks among the most sought-after on the market. Condition report: Good overall condition. Sound marbles with beautiful veining, brass with an even gilt patina slightly ambered by time. A precious tiered pedestal table, perfect as a side table, a plant stand or a refined bedside.
