DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This coffee table features a clear glass top set within a moulded brass frame. The four tapering legs, punctuated by rings and ending in spinning-top feet, are joined by an elegant H-shaped stretcher: two curved arcs punctuated with small seed finials meet a fluted central bar, a composition that lightens the silhouette while ensuring its perfect stability.

This Neoclassical refinement — tapering, arcs, polished brass and the transparency of glass — is characteristic of the productions of Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, supplier to royal courts and the most prestigious residences, whose brass coffee tables are among the most sought-after on the market.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a fine uniform gilded patina, glass possibly showing likely surface micro-scratches inherent to use. A timeless coffee table that will fit with the same ease into a classical or contemporary living room.
