DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This magazine rack is built of black lacquered metal wire forming four hoops of increasing height, which determine as many filing compartments on either side of a central rod. The latter ends in a gilt brass ring grip, the only precious note that enhances the graphic silhouette. The whole rests on a solid black lacquered base carried by hoop feet.
This dialogue of black lacquered metal and gilt brass, as well as the functional rigour of the design, allow this object to be stylistically associated with the world of Jacques Adnet, a major figure of French décor of the 1950s, famous for his creations combining metal, brass and saddle-stitched leather.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Uniform black lacquer with light marks of use, brass ring with a fine gilded patina. A chic and graphic accessory at the foot of a sofa or a reading armchair.
