DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This floor reading lamp features a tubular gilt brass shaft with a telescopic system allowing its height to be adjusted, resting on a moulded circular base. The articulated double-pivot arm directs the light as required towards the reading chair. The conical shade in English-green lacquered tole, with a gilt interior, diffuses a warm and concentrated light, in the spirit of library lamps.

This telescopic model fits within the Neoclassical tradition of the reading light fitting, brought back into favour in the 1970s by the French gilt brass houses, in the spirit of the productions of Maison Jansen.

Condition report: Good general condition. Brass with a fine even gilt patina, green tole of the shade with possible occasional marks of use, functional telescopic mechanism. Electricity checked by an electrician. A practical and elegant reading lamp, perfect in a study or a library.
