DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
The tubular brass shaft, punctuated by moulded rings, blossoms into three swan-neck curved light arms, each sculpted with a stylised swan head and ending in a baluster bobèche. A grip ring crowns the whole, which rests on an elegant tripod base with curved legs. Large oval shade in black fabric lined with gold.
The swan motif, inherited from the Empire repertoire, is dear to Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, supplier to royal courts, whose tripod brass floor lamps rank among the emblematic models of the 1960s.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a beautiful even gilt patina, shade remade to measure. Electricity checked by an electrician. A floor lamp of great presence, which will structure the corner of a living room or elegantly light a reading nook.
