DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This floor lamp features a tubular shaft in gilt brass, animated at its centre with a black-sheathed ring that punctuates the silhouette. It rests on a brass tripod base with short, curved legs, fixed on a black lacquered circular base that seats the whole. The black drum shade with a gilt interior reflects a warm and enveloping light.

This play of contrast between gilt brass and touches of black is characteristic of French lighting of the 1950s, in the spirit of the productions of Maison Lunel or Maison Arlus, which elegantly declined the modernist vocabulary of the post-war years.

Condition report: Good general condition. Brass with an even gilt patina, black sheath and base in fine condition; shade remade to measure. Electricity checked by an electrician. A chic and timeless floor lamp, to be placed beside a sofa or in a corner of a room.
