DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Egg lamp in wood and brushed steel. Its soft, full ovoid form is enhanced by the dialogue between the warmth of the wood and the matt sheen of the brushed steel. Circa 1970.
Organic forms and simple volumes such as the egg or the sphere held an important place in the design of the 1960s and 1970s, which explored new silhouettes for lighting. The pairing of a natural material with an industrial metal reflects the spirit of the period and its attention to contrasting materials. Placed on a console table, a chest of drawers or a bedside table, the lamp provides ambient light and stands as a decorative object in its own right.
