DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This table lamp features a baluster shaft in blown glass of a fine translucent emerald green, punctuated with chased gilt bronze rings, resting on a circular bronze base with a pierced foliate frieze. The conical shade in ecru cloth, trimmed with a braided galloon at the top and bottom, completes the whole with a natural softness that sets off the brilliance of the glass.
The combination of coloured glass and finely chased gilt bronze mounts fits within the tradition of French sitting-room lamps of the mid-20th century, heirs to the taste for bronze mounts applied to precious materials.
Condition report: Good general condition. Glass with no visible breakage and fine deep tones, gilt bronze with an even patina, shade in good presentation condition. Wiring to be checked before use. A lamp full of charm, perfect on a chest of drawers, a bedside table or a desk.
