DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Each coat rack presents a shaft composed of fine rods of black lacquered metal gathered into a bundle, blooming at the top into a bouquet of elegantly curved hooks, each punctuated with a gilt brass ball. At mid-height, small additional hooks accommodate scarves and hats. The whole rests on a splayed base with crossed arcs ensuring excellent stability.
This graphic and light design — fine black rods enhanced with golden touches — is characteristic of French furniture of the 1950s, in the spirit of the creations of Roger Feraud or Jacques Adnet, who reinvented vestibule objects with wit and modernity.
Condition report: Good general condition. Black lacquer even with some possible touch-ups from use, brass balls with a soft patina. A pair full of style and fancy, perfect in an entrance, a cloakroom or a guest bedroom.
