DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This rope lamp reflects the post-war taste for natural materials and craft techniques. French work in the style of Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet, circa 1950. It measures 26 cm wide, 19.5 cm deep and 36 cm high. In the mid-twentieth century, the Audoux-Minet duo became associated with furniture and lighting in braided or coiled rope, with soft, warm forms. Rope, a humble material, brings texture and softness to the object, in contrast with industrial materials. In the spirit of the seaside interiors and holiday homes of the period, this lamp will find its place on a side table, a chest of drawers or a bedside table.
