DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This lamp presents a shaft in reconstituted stone taking the form of a slightly flattened ball, almost a monumental pebble, with a granular and warm sand-coloured surface. The narrowed neck discreetly receives the wiring, and the cylindrical shade in light fabric diffuses a soft light that underlines the mineral material.

This taste for raw materials and organic forms is characteristic of the 1970s, a period when ceramists and editors multiplied light fixtures in stoneware, stone and chamotte clay, in a naturalist spirit close to the productions of workshops in the south of France.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Reconstituted stone with a sound surface, even patina, shade remade to measure. Electricity checked by an electrician. A soft and organic lamp, perfect on a bedside table or a library shelf.
