DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This coffee table features a rectangular aged mirror top in églomisé shades, set in a brass frame underlined with a beaded frieze. The four tapered and fluted feet, with molded rings, are joined by an elegant stretcher composed of two half-moons linked by a central bar, which lightens the silhouette while structuring it.

The aged mirror top, the beaded friezes and the architectural stretcher are characteristic of the productions of Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, supplier to royal courts, whose brass coffee tables are among the most sought-after pieces on the market.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a fine, even gilt patina, deliberately aged mirror top with irregular shades of the finest effect, surface micro-scratches possible inherent to use. A precious coffee table, the luminous pivot of a classic or contemporary living room.
