DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This coffee table features a rectangular aged mirror top in irregular églomisé shades of the finest effect, set in a brass frame punctuated with right-angled corner finials. The four tapered and fluted feet, with molded rings, are joined by an X-shaped stretcher whose crossing is centered with a pendant gadrooned finial.
The aged mirror top and the X-shaped stretcher with a central finial are characteristic of the productions of Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, supplier to royal courts, whose brass coffee tables are among the most sought-after pieces on the market.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a fine, even gilt patina, deliberately aged mirror top with clouded shades, surface micro-scratches possible inherent to use. A luminous and refined coffee table, which enlivens a living room by delicately reflecting the light.
