Neoclassical Style 2 Tiers Coffee Table made of Brass and Bronze with Black Lacquered Glass Shelves by Maison Baguès

This neoclassical style coffee table combines a bronze and brass structure with two black lacquered glass shelves. French work by Maison Baguès, circa 1940. It measures 105.5 cm wide, 55 cm deep and 50 cm high. The deep black of the lacquered glass sets off the golden sheen of the metal, while the two tiers provide additional space for books and objects. Maison Baguès, the Parisian house known for its bronze work and lighting, also produced furniture in a neoclassical spirit, revisiting the vocabulary of the eighteenth century with modern materials.
