Faceted Cut-Cornered Champagne Bucket in Silvered Metal in the Art Deco Style. French Work signed Maison André Leroy. Circa 1970

This champagne bucket features a truncated conical body entirely faceted with cut corners, whose sharp edges catch the light with a highly architectural graphic quality. Two lateral handles of mobile quadrangular rings, mounted on cylindrical fixings, complete the design with rigour.

This frank geometry, playing on facets and pure lines, is entirely representative of the Art Deco aesthetic applied to tableware. Maison André Leroy, a French silversmith, produced this model in the great tradition of quality silvered metal.

Condition report: Good general condition. Even silvering with occasional and discreet marks of use, surface micro-scratches inherent to the function. An object both utilitarian and sculptural, perfect on a festive table or a bar.
