DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

The slender gilt bronze shaft reproduces the nodes and internodes of bamboo, finely chased over its entire height. It rests on a tripod base with curved legs, also treated as stylised bamboo, giving the silhouette lightness and naturalness. The black fabric drum shade lined with gold diffuses a warm and flattering light.

Gilt bronze faux bamboo is one of the signatures of Maison Baguès, the Parisian reference in gilt bronze and brass, whose tripod floor lamps of this model, declined from the 1940s to the 1960s, have become great classics of French lighting.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Gilt bronze with a warm patina, shade in fine condition. Wiring to be checked before use. An elegant and versatile floor lamp, ideal beside an armchair or in the corner of a living room.
