DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Each side table features a quadrangular brass structure with tapered uprights, surmounted by finely chased pinecone finials and ending in small spinning-top feet. Two thick tiers of grey-veined white marble punctuate the height, offering a double display surface while giving the whole a refined mineral presence.
This neoclassical purity - straight lines, slender proportions, the dialogue of brass and white marble - is characteristic of the productions of Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, supplier to the royal courts and to the most prestigious residences. Its small occasional pieces are among the most sought-after on the market.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Sound marbles with beautiful veining, brass with an even gilt patina. A timeless pair, framing a sofa or as refined bedside tables.
