DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This set of four wrought iron wall lights makes it possible to light a room evenly, spreading the light sources across several walls or on either side of an opening. Wrought iron, a material both robust and expressive, gives the set a restrained, graphic presence. French work, circa 1940; the height given is without candles. In inter-war France, decorative ironwork enjoyed a significant revival: lighting, banisters and grilles accompanied architecture and interior decoration alike, carrying forward a long-standing craft. As a set of four, these wall lights allow a symmetrical arrangement in a living room, a dining room, a corridor or a gallery, and suit a country house as well as a town interior.
