DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Each wall light in this large wrought iron pair has two light arms and is decorated with fleurs-de-lis. The pair belongs to the Gothic style, inspired by medieval architecture and decorative arts. French work. Each wall light measures 24 cm wide, 17.4 cm deep and 50.2 cm high. The fleur-de-lis, emblem of the French monarchy since the Middle Ages, emphasises the historical reference and gives the lights a stately character. The Gothic Revival taste, present in the decorative arts since the nineteenth century, gave rise to a considerable production of wrought iron lighting for entrance halls, staircases and dining rooms. Offered as a pair, these wall lights suit a symmetrical arrangement around a fireplace, a console table or a doorway.
