DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This pair of brass wall lights takes the form of lanterns, a type of fixture traditionally intended for entrances, vestibules and passageways. Neoclassical in style, the pair is French work by Maison Jansen, circa 1940. Each wall light measures 13.5 cm wide, 20 cm deep and 46 cm high. The warm, luminous brass emphasises the structure of the lantern and the rigour of its design. A great Parisian decorating house, Maison Jansen drew extensively on the classical vocabulary to design furniture and lighting with measured lines. Offered as a pair, these lantern wall lights suit an arrangement on either side of a door, a mirror or a console table, in an entrance hall or a living room.
