DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This pair of wall sconces combines gilded metal and crystals, a pairing that plays on the warmth of the gilding and the reflections of the light. French work in the style of Maison Baguès, circa 1940. Each sconce measures 31 cm wide, 17.5 cm deep and 48.5 cm high. Maison Baguès, the Parisian lighting house, lent its name to a style of wall lights and chandeliers combining gilded metal and crystal drops that was much prized in inter-war interiors. Once lit, these sconces give off a soft, sparkling light. Offered as a pair, they suit a symmetrical arrangement on either side of a fireplace, a mirror or a bed.
