DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This pair of wall sconces combines Lucite and gilt metal, two materials emblematic of 1970s design. French work, circa 1970. Each sconce measures 32.5 cm wide, 25 cm deep and 33 cm high. The transparency of the Lucite lets the light flow, while the gilt metal adds a warm, precious touch. From the 1960s onwards, synthetic materials such as acrylic appealed to designers for their lightness, clarity and formal possibilities; combined with gilt metal, they gave rise to lighting that was both modern and refined. Offered as a pair, these sconces will find their place in a living room, a bedroom or an entrance hall, in a vintage or contemporary interior.
