DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Pair of brass and crystal sconces. The golden-toned brass serves as a setting for the crystals, which catch and refract the light to create a sparkling glow. Circa 1940.
The combination of gilt metal and crystals belongs to the tradition of decorative lighting, reinterpreted in the 1930s and 1940s in more restrained lines. As a pair, these sconces lend themselves to a symmetrical arrangement on either side of a fireplace, a mirror, a bed or a console table. They provide ambient light and a note of classical elegance, in a living room or dining room as well as in a bedroom or entrance hall.
