DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Pair of silvered bronze wall sconces with three lights each, in the neoclassical style. The silvered finish of the bronze underlines the design of the arms and gives the whole a luminous, measured elegance. French work in the style of Maison Jansen, circa 1940.
The neoclassicism of the 1930s and 1940s revisited the vocabulary of Antiquity in a pared-down spirit, favouring symmetry, balanced proportions and fine finishes. As a pair, these sconces lend themselves to a symmetrical arrangement on either side of a fireplace, a mirror or a console table. They provide ambient light and a note of classical elegance in a living room, a dining room or an entrance hall.
