DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

Each sconce is organized around a molded escutcheon wall backplate, surmounted by a rocaille shell, from which spring three scrolled console light arms ending in gadrooned corolla bobeches holding faux candles. The center is animated by a bouquet of cut iron foliage that softens the composition. The metal shows a nuanced brown patina, slightly bronzed.

The escutcheon, the shell and the shaped arms link this pair to the Louis XV style, whose rocaille repertoire was abundantly revisited by French decorative ironwork in the 20th century for classical interiors. The three-light format ensures generous lighting.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Even patina of use, faux candles to be replaced if desired according to taste. Electricity checked by an electrician. A characterful pair to frame an overmantel, a fireplace or a bookcase.
