DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Faux-bamboo brass magazine rack. The brass frame imitates bamboo stems, in a sober design that pairs the warm gleam of the metal with a nature-inspired motif. French work attributed to Jacques Adnet, circa 1970.
Faux bamboo was widely reinterpreted in 20th-century metal furniture and objects, particularly in the 1960s and 1970s, when it brought an exotic touch to interiors. The quintessential occasional piece, a magazine rack sits beside a sofa, an armchair or a bed, keeping newspapers, magazines and books close at hand while contributing fully to the decor of the room.
