DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This floor reading lamp features a tubular gilt brass shaft topped with a baluster finial, resting on a moulded circular base with an ogee gadrooned profile. The adjustable double-jointed arm, ending in an elegant drop-shaped finial, allows the light to be directed towards the reading chair. The conical black shade with a gilt interior concentrates a warm light. This model fits within the Neoclassical tradition of the library light fitting, brought back into favour in the 1970s by the French gilt brass houses, in the spirit of the productions of Maison Jansen. Condition report: Good general condition. Brass with a fine even gilt patina, shade in good presentation condition. Wiring to be checked before use. A refined reading lamp, perfect beside a bergère or in a reading corner.
