DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This floor reading lamp features a quadrangular gilt brass shaft, topped with a baluster finial and resting on an elegant moulded triangular base with an ogee profile, set on small glides. The articulated double-pivot arm allows the light source to be directed towards the reading chair. The conical black shade with a gilt interior concentrates a warm and enveloping light.
This model fits within the Neoclassical tradition of the library light fitting, brought back into favour in the 1970s by the French houses specialising in gilt brass, in the spirit of the productions of Maison Jansen.
Condition report: Good general condition. Brass with a fine even gilt patina, shade in good presentation condition. Wiring to be checked before use. A well-made reading lamp, ideal beside an armchair or a sofa.
