DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This oval-shaped wall mirror features a frame composed of two concentric rows of small beveled mirror facets, mounted as a mosaic and separated by fine beaded brass garlands that also underline the borders. The central glass, slightly smoked, is articulated by radiating crossbars that give rhythm to the perimeter.

This type of mirror with faceted marginal plates, inherited from Venetian mirrors and brought back into fashion in the 1970s, notably in the Spanish and Italian productions of the period, plays on the multiplication of reflections to capture the light from every angle.

Condition report: Good overall condition. Complete facets, brass garlands well in place, central glass that may show probable micro-spotting inherent to age. A sparkling mirror that will enlarge an entrance, a corridor or a bedroom with great effect.
