DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
This pedestal table features a circular top of clear glass set within a moulded brass rim, borne by three curved arms forming a basket that meet a finely turned central baluster shaft. The tripod base spreads three curved, tapering legs ending in discreet scrolls.
The quality of the turning of the baluster shaft and the elegance of the basket allow this pedestal table to be stylistically linked to the productions of Maison Baguès, the great Parisian house of art bronze, the absolute reference in gilt brass occasional furniture, whose spirit marked the whole of French production of the 1950s.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a beautiful even gilt patina, the glass possibly showing probable surface micro-scratches inherent to use. A light and refined pedestal table, perfect as a side table or beside an armchair to set down a glass or a lamp.
