DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Each side table presents a quadrangular brass structure with fluted uprights, surmounted by turned baluster finials and ending in tapered feet with rings. Two smoked glass tiers set into moulded frames articulate the height, the lower level forming a stretcher shelf, giving the whole lightness and refinement.
This refined Neoclassical writing — fluted uprights, slender proportions, smoked glass — is characteristic of the productions of Maison Jansen, the great Parisian decorating house founded in 1880, supplier to royal courts, whose small movable brass and glass furniture is among the most sought-after on the market.
Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a beautiful gilt patina, smoked glass possibly presenting probable surface micro-scratches inherent to use. A chic and versatile pair, framing a sofa or as bedside tables.
