Tripod Floor Lamp in Black Lacquered Metal, Shaft Adorned with a Brass Baluster, Modernist, French Work, circa 1950

This floor lamp features a slender shaft in black lacquered metal, animated at its centre with a moulded brass baluster that punctuates the silhouette with a gilt accent. The tripod base, with slender arched legs terminating in small pads, gives the whole great graphic lightness. The black tapered shade with a gilt interior reflects a warm light.
