Log Holder in Folded Steel Sheet Lacquered Black and Red, Modernist Work, 1970s

This log holder is shaped from folded steel sheet: two trapezoidal cheeks lacquered bright red frame a V-shaped cradle lacquered matte black that holds the logs. The continuous folding, with no apparent assembly, gives the object a graphic and self-supporting silhouette, where the contrast of the two colours underlines the geometry of the design.
