DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

This champagne bucket features a cylindrical silvered metal body with a sober profile, the slightly flared neck underlined by engraved fillets. Two small side handles in stylised foliage, finely chased, punctuate the belly with discretion. The silvered interior is designed to receive ice and a bottle, the generous form accepting magnum flasks. This type of bucket belongs to the production of the great French silversmiths of the 1950s, which rendered pared-down forms enhanced with Neoclassical details for the tableware of hotels and elegant houses. Condition report: Good overall condition. Silvering with a patina of use with micro-scratches and surface marks inherent to the function, lending its authenticity to the object. A classic of the art of entertaining, to be placed on a trolley or a bar for serving champagne.
